I paint what I cannot throw or form in clay. Sea and mountain scenes, abstract work, the kind of painting that starts with a feeling and follows wherever it leads. Digital, acrylic, watercolor. Each medium speaks a different language, but the conversation is always the same. Something caught my eye, stayed in my chest, and needed to come out.

Nature is my teacher. A sunrise over water. A ridgeline disappearing into fog. The way light moves across a surface and refuses to hold still. I do not try to reproduce what I see. I try to paint what it felt like to stand there and watch. Sometimes that means soft pastels and blended edges. Sometimes that means bold strokes and unexpected color. The painting decides which it needs to be, not me.

These works live alongside the pottery because they come from the same place. Different medium, same hands, same instinct to capture a moment before it slips away. If clay is earth shaped by intention, paint is light shaped by memory. Both are just ways of holding onto something beautiful long enough to share it.
